I have a little seed,
And I’m putting it down
In the hole that I made
In the deep, dark ground.
Then I’ll cover it up
And pat it lovingly,
And I’ll water my seed so carefully.

Sun and soil,
Soil and sun.
Add a little water-
It’s a job well done.

From a seed to a plant-
That’s how it’s done.
I have a little plant
That’s growing up now
From the hole that I made

And from the plant
That’s there for me,
Come lots and lots more seeds!
Yeah! Let’s plant some!
