Cowboys, Cactus and Coyotes

Down in the Southwest
The honed toads are hopping
Down in the desert
Where the prairie dogs roam
Down in the Southwest
It’s hotter than a frying pan
This is the place that some call home.
We’ll be watching for cowboys,
Cactus, and coyotes
Out where the critters play
Cowboys, cactus, and coyotes
At night you can hear the band play.
Howl
Down in the Southwest
The roadrunner’s running
Down in the desert
Where the sidewinder preys
Down in the Southwest
Where the cacti are blooming
You can see for miles and miles away.
We’ll be watching for cowboys,
Cactus, and coyotes
Out where the critters play
Cowboys, cactus, and coyotes
At night you can hear the band play.
Howl
